Mission Festival 2025
Join us for the Zion Mission Festival for both congregations on July 6, 2025 at 9:30 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church.
At this year’s Mission Festival we will have a special guest speaker that was a Martin Luther College (MLC) student and is now working in the mission field spreading the word of God. Service at 9:30, Program at 10:30, and Potluck Lunch at 11:00.

we are
Nestled in the middle of southern Minnesota are two small community churches. Visit Courtland Lutheran Church in the middle of the small town of Courtland. Enjoy the Sunday drive out of New Ulm to Zion Lutheran Church in Brighton Township. Here you will find the Zion Church tucked away off the old Fort Road in between corn and bean fields where you can let your children run and play! These two churches have stood the test of time at over 125+ years of membership spanning more than six family generations. Discover these two hidden gems seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
